About us

We are Orange County's newest Jewish Community.

In Hebrew, Kolot means "voices." Our friendly, affordable congregation reaches out to diverse households, including so-called "traditional" and non-traditional families, singles, gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals and transgenders, and others who are looking for a place to "give voice to their spirit." Our innovative prayer book is based on Reform and Conservative traditional writings, modern Jewish prayers and Jewish Renewal principles.  Friday night services are more than just the formality of reading prayers and singing songs, but involve discussions with our rabbi of matters of the intellect and the soul that directly affect our spiritual lives.

We offer Adult Education, B'nai Mitzvah and Religious school classes for ALL children. This year, we are also offering Adult B'nei Mitzvah classes.

We are now entering our seventh year under the spiritual leadership of Rabbi Rafael H. Goldstein. To learn more about us, meet our board members, take a look at our 2007 Membership form, or view Photos of past events.
